Learning, Teaching, Communicating

How do we best learn facts and connections, movements or languages? And how can we utilize subconscious mechanisms? This fascinating question drives me, because the answers can significantly improve our coaching and presentation skills.
While studying at the University of Potsdam, I gave tutorials to more than 100 students. As a speaker for training and continuing education for sports coaches, I learned how to make courses motivating and sustainable. And in sports, I was able to learn a lot about nonverbal communication.
I trained as a communications trainer at Rittal GmbH & Co. KG. There, I held internal training courses on improved customer communication. The power of language is fascinating.
Is it possible to learn a foreign language without specifically memorizing vocabulary? Yes, the TPR (Total Physical Response) method uses elements that toddlers use to learn their native language, resulting in a deeper understanding of language in a short time.

My self-experiments help me gain my own didactic experience. This incredible wealth of experience helps me in coaching my clients.

Archetypal Combination Theory

We all bring certain abilities and talents into our lives, linked to the question: How do I live authentically and how can I best use my skills and potential? In order to be able to advise clients comprehensively on topics from various areas of life, I trained with Randolf Schäfer in the theory of archetypal combinations. I am now a member of his mentoring team. During the collaboration between Randolf Schäfer and the mindset coach Christian Bischoff, I worked an archetype coach for Christian Bischoff Life GmbH.

Learn to Swim & Superman Swimming

In 2024, I was able to conduct "Learn to Swim" coaching courses in Thailand and Indonesia for the German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB). My approach can best be described as "Joy meets Safety." Beginners playfully learn skills for surviving in the water. From there, they can learn the different swimming strokes. Both countries want to establish my approach as a guide for beginner swimming.

The Universitas Negeri Jakarta is adopting the content for its sports teacher training program.

I call my overall concept for teaching swimming techniques "Superman Swimming."

The Home of Group Fitness

How can we offer an unique, motivating, high-quality training experience? This question was the starting point for my team's fitness studio. In particular, I was able to hone my skills in the following areas: How do we successfully lead a team of employees? How do we design profitable marketing? How do we establish simple processes within the company that are essential for smooth day-to-day operations? How do we shape our language and communication with our clients? How do we use design elements, lights, music, and words to reach people on a subconscious level? And the general answer is: Simplicity is key.
